Absolutely great place to stay while in Winthrop. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Nice staff throughout. Marvellous location, 15 minutes' walk to Shafer Historical Museum. Also, to grocery stores.

The location was magnificent - short walk to Winthrop for more than twenty years, and many restaurants. It also was to grocery stores. Staying at the hotel was very nice, I would stay here again.

I recently stayed at Mt Gardner Inn for a weekend getaway. The office had some great extras like dvds, wine glasses, and ice, which was a nice touch. The covered porch overlooking the courtyard was a peaceful spot to relax. The location set off from the road made it incredibly quiet. The house soaking tub and massive shower in our room were luxurious. We had a balcony overlooking a field full of deer, which was beautiful. The fireplace in our room added a cozy touch. The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. The metal stairs with handrail were helpful for someone with balance issues. Glass wine and cocktail glasses were available at the desk.

Would recommend this hotel.

Get the toilet lite and exhaust fan separated. So noisy in the middle of the night

The Pheasant room in the back building on the lower level is a hidden gem. The location is perfect, close to everything, and surrounded by impressive restaurants. The room is cozy and comfortable, with a downy lint giving it a warm touch. The bathroom is spotless, and the service provided by the staff is top-notch. the view from the room is breathtaking, with deer and quail casually strolling by. The facilities are well-maintained, and the room offers several advantages like a kitchenette and a sitting area.

The bed in the Pheasant room could use an upgrade for better comfort.

The whole room was cleanwith vaulted ceiling, balcony and kitchenette. The location in a pretty nice area was marvellous and fantastic and there were a supermarket and a grocery store nearby.

Hotel was absolutely charming and great, greatly enjoyed our stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming inn during my travels, and it was a delightful experience. the room was listed as a budget room, but it exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Despite being small, it had everything I needed, and the lovely decorating details added a unique touch. Additionally, the contactless check-in and check-out process was seamless and hassle-free. Finally, the location was perfect, with the hotel being within walking distance of town cafes and bakeries, making breakfast options easily accessible.

There was one minor aspect that could be improved upon. The signage near the hotel was a bit poor, making it easy to miss the entrance.

The bed was extremely comfy and the room was compact with comfortable decor. Location: the hotel was near to the restaurants and other amenities and Winthrop for more than twenty years.

Our room was not only budget, but also beautifully maintained with balcony view and a full kitchen and single bed. The location was stunning, for example, Shafer Historical Museum was relatively near the hotel.
